My name is Zanetta Kok. Kok is pronounced like the soda. My mom is from The Philippines and my dad is from Pennsylvania. I was born in Hawaii, then moved around a lot as a kid. I finally landed in Central Pennsylvania where I’ve lived ever since. I am now married, the proud mom of two fluffy cats, and the founder of a coffee roasting company called Kitty Town Coffee.

When I was a kid I was painfully shy. Like, so shy that I didn’t necessarily respond when spoken to. Naturally, I didn’t really have friends. It was a very dark and lonely time. During that time, I told myself it wouldn’t always be that way. I promised myself that one day I would make my mark on the world. I wasn’t sure how, but I knew I had to.

This blog is about my journey to fulfill that promise to my 10-year-old self. You’re welcome to come along. Just get ready, it’s going to be a bumpy ride. 🙂
